Quince Orchard powers over Northwest for Win

Northwest had come away with the victory all three times they’d entered the Cougar Dome since 2013 – once during the regular season and twice ending QO’s playoff runs. With those bitter memories still fresh in their minds, Quince Orchard was ready for their notable visitors last Friday night. Northwest receiver Reggie Anderson scored first, making it look easy. But a few plays later, Shawn Barlow made his first of 3 touchdowns for QO. The game remained competitive as QO never let up in their intensity to defend their home field. Though the NW Jaguars, led by senior quarterback Mark Piece, were not to score again, the Cougars knew from experience what a dire threat Pierce and his Jags can be. QO could have been hurt by the frequent penalties called against them, but they held it together and took advantage of nearly every play that went their way.

Quince Orchard is thrilled to have their field back, though more battles lie ahead!

QO visits BCC and Northwest has an away game at Churchill on Friday, October 23rd at 6:30 pm.

Final Score Quince Orchard 28 Northwest 7
