Damascus kicks off and Watkins Mill moves the ball with a few short passes and picks up a 1st down and then comes up to a 4th and 15 and punts, #32 returns it for 35 yards. Over the next few plays picks up a few yards and #3 picks up 19 yards on a short pass, putting the ball on the Wolverines 9. Wolverines #56 sacks the Damascus QB for a loss. Damascus completes a 8 yard pass to #80 Joey Salisbury for the 1st touchdown, the extra point being good puts Damascus on the board first 7-0 with 6:49 left in the 1st. The Wolverines go 3 and out, to punt and sets Damascus up with the ball on their own 43. The Hornets are moving the ball with short runs and passes, and are running a hurried offense, not allowing the Wolverines to breath. Damascus is lined up to go for it on a 4th and 2 and get an illegal procedure, now becomes 4th and 8 and #34 Jake Funk picks up 10 yards to give Damascus a 1st down. They are moving again with short passes and a few short runs, scores on a short pass and the extra point attempt failed. Damascus 13-0 with 1:31 left in the 1st. Wolverines fumbles giving Damascus the ball on the Wolverines 20 yard line.
Starting the 2nd quarter, #34 Jake Funk scores on a short run and they go for 2 point conversion and complete it making it 21-0 with 11:18 left in the 2nd. The Wolverines go 3 and out and on 4th and 22 punt from their goal line. Hornets are moving down field and #34 Funk picks up 27 yards rushing and then punches it in on a 7 yard touchdown run up the center, extra point attempt is good, score Damascus 28-0 with 8:09 left in the 2nd. The Wolverines are only able to move a short distance and have to punt, with #34 Funk returning it for 14 yards. Damascus fails on a 4th down conversion and gives Wolverines the ball on their own 27. Wolverines again can not move it and is forced to punt. Hornets #16 Markus Vinson picks up a 1st down on a 20 yard run, followed by #34 Jake Funk picks up another touchdown on a 25 yard run, extra point attempt good, score 35-0, with 2:37 left in the 2nd. The Wolverines end up fumbling and gets recovered on the Hornets 42, #80 Joey Salisbury picks up 11 yards on a short pass, setting up the Hornets on the Wolverines 3 yard line. #16 Markus Vinson scores a touchdown on a short run, extra point good, score 42-0 with :28 left in the 2nd. All of the Damascus kick offs and gone into to the end zone setting the Wolverines on the 20 to start off.
Starting the 3rd with a running clock, the Wolverines are moving the ball down field and are on the Hornets 6 yard line, #8 Markel Grant does a keeper and gets the ball to the 2 yard line, and come to a 4th and 6 after a illegal substitution penalty and and go for it on 4th and 6 and fail to convert with 4:33 left in 3rd. Damascus fumbles and is recovered by Wolverines on the Hornets 6 yard line. Wolverines #8 Markel Grant throws a sideways pass to #6 for a 6yard touchdown, they go for 2 and complete it to #10 , score Damascus 42-8 with 1:29 left in the 3rd. #2 picks up 51 yards on a side lines run to end the 3rd quarter.
The 4th quarter was pretty un eventful and both teams trying to score again, but unable.
