Watkins Mill Host their season opener against Gaithersburg Trojans.
The Trojans are first to score. Watkins Mill struggles to find a way to score. #4 for Gaithersburg catches a pass in the back of the end zone for a touchdown over #23 for Watkins Mill right be for halftime making the score 21-0. Gaithersburg defense continue to put pressure on the Wolverines quarterback #8, in result he continue to through away passes, getting sacked and also Interceptions. late in the 3rd quarter #33 for the Wolverines strips and run the ball back about 40 yards, which started the momentum change for the Wolverines. which lead to a touchdown. while going for a 2- point conversion Watkins Mill quarterback #8 was injuried on the play. The Trojans rush down the field to put another touchdown on the board. After the touchdown the 2nd team was called in for both Watkins Mill and Gaithersburg.
