The Colonels of Magruder HS Varsity Boy are hosting tonight a game against the Jaguars of Northwest HS.
The Jaguars are slow to start, but quickly get into a groove, causing turnovers and grabbing rebounds. At the end of the 1st 10-22. The Magruder head coach is getting frustrated, with the players using 4 out of 5 timeout in the first 9 minutes, also subbed in a whole five players for the Colonels. A lot of fouls calls were made in the last 3 minutes before half. In the last 2 minutes Magruder were matching the intensity of Northwest bring them within 6 points at the end of the half, 31-37 Northwest.
5 minutes into the 3rd quarter #12 Magruder ties the game with a 3 pointer. It appears that Northwest is beginning to lose focus. At the end of 3rd Magruder takes the lead at 50 to 49. Trading shots from each keeping the game close as it can be coming down to the last few seconds.
