A week before the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons came to play the Quince Orchard Cougars, B-CC lost to Blair by 7 points. The Barons failed to score, but only allowed one touchdown. On Friday, October 10tth, QO shut-out the B-CC Barons, routing them by 51 points. It is the toughest loss yet for the Barons, who are still striving to get their first win this season. B-CC hosts Clarksburg next Friday night at 6:30 pm.
Quince Orchard greatly pleased their huge Homecoming crowd, led by the exuberant Red Army. Despite the easy win, the serious nature of QO’s quest was evident the whole time. When the clock had run out, QO players were focused on the hard work ahead. The heavy match-ups that will test them this season are fast approaching, starting next Friday night at 6:30 pm where they travel to meet up with Sherwood.
