The Cadets of Frederick HS traveled down to Montgomery County to play the Wolverines of Watkins Mill HS in the season opener Friday evening. We attending the start of the Damascus HS vs Einstein HS game that got a running clock just prior to half time. We arrived just as the 3rd quarter started and both teams had plenty of energy, being able to move the ball down field. The Cadets were able to capitalize on their movement with Stalanic Anu scoring all three touchdowns. Watkins Mills scored its only touchdown with a pass from freshman quarterback Markel Grant to receiver Brian McNeary in the first quarter.
