The Gaithersburg Trojans earned their fourth shutout of this early baseball season by defeating Northwest by the score of 3-0. Nick DeCarlo earned his third win on the year (3-0 0.00 era) pitching six strong innings, allowing only two base runners on a single and a walk, while striking out ten Northwest batters. Brendon Deyo worked a 1,2,3 seventh inning to earn the save. The Trojans got RBI doubles by Evan Colon, Scotty Herrmann and a sacrifice fly by Nick Pantos.
