A BCC Barons showed up to play in a battle of hoops, with The Screaming Eagles of Seneca Valley. In the opening half, the Barons sat in a 3-2 forcing The Screaming Eagles to shot from the 3 point range which is good for the Barons. By the end of first period its 11-14 Baron, both teams are trading turnovers and fouls. The Barons and Screaming Eagles look extremely unorganized, with poor shot selection, followed by terrible finishing.
To open the 2nd #32 Matthew Schaengold had 2 blocks and a steal helping spark their lead all resulting in points for BCC. BCC 3-2 is getting them in a lot of foul trouble with (9) but also helping them score (18) heaping amount of points. The Screaming Eagles cant seem to find the bottom of the net only scoring 7 points ending half 11 to 32 Barons.
BCC continue with the great 3-2 forcing turnovers and making The Screaming Eagles to shot which they don’t like and can’t do. The Baron went into a full press forcing to pass under pressure. Midway through the 3rd period #11 Eric Scretchen gets 2 back to back steals connecting with #20 Kaleb Stewart for a 3 and fast break lay up. Seneca Valley still seems to fight with a big block by #11 and some help from the ref raking up 8 fouls, but still can’t find the rim. Bottom of the 3rd 34 to 60 BCC.
BCC held the pressure down with the help of #15 Livio Caputo coming of the bench amazing acrobatic finishes at the hoop. 4:32 left in the fourth the Barons coach pulls the starters.
