The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons have made it into the first round of the playoffs for the past two seasons. Quince Orchard eliminated B-CC both times, but the Barons took pride in earning those coveted playoff berths. This year, a match-up between B-CC and QO occurred during the regular season. B-CC was overwhelmed by the QO Cougars, who seemed to have an endless supply of devastatingly determined play-makers on offense, defense, and special teams.
B-CC (2-4) has a daunting task ahead of them, but they have a few games left to grow as a team and perhaps even fight their way back into the playoffs. The next game for B-CC is at Clarksburg, while QO will host Sherwood at the Cougar Dome.
