B-CC Survives to make Fifth Consecutive State Final Appearance
B-CC might as well thank Senior Goalie Angela White with her great keeping skills for keeping them in this game. The game went into penalty kicks after 100 minutes of scoreless play. Both teams had even had chances to score but neither could capitalize. B-CC looked to get revenge as they lost to Sherwood in the regular season 1-0. After making only one goal out of three in the shoot-out, it looked like Sherwood was going to upset the state champions but keeper Angela White had other things planned. White saved the next two and then it was tied at 3-3. After another round of kicks and another save from White, the Barons would advance to the State Final for the 6th consecutive year. Final score B-CC 0 – Sherwood 0 (4-3 PK’s) The Barons will play South River in the State Final at UMBC.
