Homecoming weekend at Watkins Mill started with the Wolverines hosting the Rockville Rams. The Wolverines won the toss electing to receive. The opening drive resulted in a touchdown pass to Dontay Hears giving the Wolverines an early 7-0 lead. The evening remained much of the same with the Wolverines scoring 3 additional touchdowns in the first half, including a 57 yd pass from QB Pat Schlosser to Dontay Hears to take the team into halftime with a 26-0 Wolverine lead.
Halftime festivities showcased the introduction of the homecoming court with the crowning of King Rahiem Dorsey and Queen Meredith Hopkins.
The second half continued to be lopsided as the Wolverines marched down the field for two additional touchdowns to end the game Wolverines 40 – Rams 0. Wolverine touchdowns were scored by Quinton Littlejohn, Dontay Hears (2), Rahiem Dorsey, Pat Schlosser, and Quinton Schaired. Thoughts and prayers go out to injured Wolverine, Javier Ramirez who suffered a knee injury and was taken to nearby hospital for examination. Next week the Wolverines travel to Einstein High School to take on the Titans while the Rams host the Seneca Valley Screaming Eagles.
