The Magruder Colonels played against the Wootton Patriots.
At the start of the game #5 Nick Griffin takes over and help start the Colonels lead. From the looks of the 1st this is going to be a very closet game. Both teams are playing up to their abilities ending the half 18-18. Going into half Wootton is giving the great all mighty Colonels a headache, but with #5 Nick Griffin shooting like he is with 16 points Magruder still have control of the game at half 39-34 Colonels. Magruder comes out of half playing like the team they are, blocking shots, forcing turnovers, sharing the ball, playing defense, grabbing rebounds, and shooting and scoring like no other.
The Patriots are struggling to get a shot off with the Colonels hands in their face. But the Patriots are showing fight, shutting down #4 Garland Owens and not giving up with 57-46 Magruder going into the fourth. #5 Nick Griffin, #10 JJ Epps, #22 Justin Witmer are running the court, beating Wootton on the offensive side of the ball with their passing, amazing shooting, and pure hustle.
In the fourth quarter Wootton is letting the lead get bigger and bigger #10 JJ Epps and #5 Nick Griffin is tag teaming the Patriots on offense. with 37.7 left on the clock #5 Nick Griffin hits another 3 pointer to have 40 points that ties the record that was set over 20 years ago.
